Lessons in this Unit
In this lesson students will be able to develop a fully dimensioned multi-view drawing from a handout. They will develop the drawing given two of the views along with an Isometric. They are required to create the third view and dimension all three views, using AutoCAD software and will understand the use of multi-view applications in the Engineering Design industry.
- 2 Class Periods - Each Period
- 55 Minutes
In this lesson students will be able to develop a fully dimensioned multi-view drawing from a isometric CAD drawing and paper handout. They will develop the drawing given only a non dimensioned Isometric handout / CAD file. They are required to create the 3rd view and dimension all three views, using AutoCAD software.
- 2 Class Periods - Each Period
- 55 Minutes
Students will create a basic 3 view drawing (front, top, right side views) using 1/4" graph paper. These views will be derived from a Pictorial drawing (isometric).
