Plasma Cutting

Unit Overview / Details

This unit includes plasma cutting as a process that is used to cut steel and other metals of different thicknesses (or sometimes other materials) using a plasma torch. In this unit the proper and safe use of a plasma cutting machine will be taught as well as the theory and practical uses for the machine in the manufacturing industry.

  • be able to use a hand held plasma cutter to make detailed cuts
