Job assigning
Part of Lesson Plan: Clean-up
Activity Overview / Details
Once I have shown the class the clean-up areas, I take them back to the classroom. I have the class nominate a few students as a foreman. Then, the students nominated have to accept the nomination. If a student nominates someone, then that student has to vote for that nominee. Once I have a few nominations, then we have a vote. I only let each student vote once. Once we have chosen a foreman (one foreman per block/class), the first job for the foreman is to assign jobs to each student.
