Demonstration measuring of the Q-angle

Activity Overview / Details
Use a student as model to show the process of measuring the Q-angle. Using the Goniometer from the ASIS to the middle of the patella tendon draw a line. Now mark the tibial tuberosity and draw a line from it through the middle of the patella. Now using the Goniometer line up the two lines and see what the angle is. This is your Q-angle. Discuss what is normal in males and females and what conditions can develop if your Q-angle is above normal.
