Activity Overview / Details
At student lab stations set up a gel box, a practice gel. It is recommended that you use Carolina practice gels (see link below) with comb in it, microtube rack, microtube of Sample A, B, and C, P20 pipette, pipette tips, power supply- with out powercord, and beaker labeled buffer but filled with water, and a waster container. To make the samples, it is recommended that you use different food coloring and corn syrup diluted with a little water. Students follow the lab handout attached.
