Show What You Know
Part of Lesson Plan: Photosynthesis Process
Activity Overview / Details
I ask the students to clear the desks and have something to write with. Play the music from the opening of class while they do that. I hand out 1/4 sheets of scratch paper to each student for a Show What You Know activity. Stop the music to get their attention back. (This is like a test, but I do not tell the students that!) I ask 2-3 questions about the lesson such as: #1 List the ingredients needed for photosynthesis. #2 Can Photosynthesis take place at night?, #3 What is the result of photosynthesis (What does the plant make)? Allow 5-7 minutes
