I play the Welder accident video (30 seconds), allowing the students to see how quickly an accident can happen. I then hold a class discussion about the importance of checking equipment and the environment to identify possible hazards to prevent accidents

This video is a good demonstration of what can happen when we think that we are out of danger because we are finished with our work. It also is a great tool to show students how fast accidents can happen.
