Part of Lesson Plan: External Anatomy of Animals

Activity Overview / Details

Teacher is to go through each slide discussing the parts of each animal. They can also brainstorm with kids about what major purposes each one of these animals have based on their anatomy which leads them into a future lesson on modern day uses and animal by-products. Students are to fill out the blank animal part handouts as they go. You can print all 4 or just do one at a time. For example, maybe one day you do the parts of the Beef animal and then do one of the below activities only and then do another animal another day and do a different activity. It all depends on your class and the speed at which you want to go.
