Activity Overview / Details

(2 minutes) Ask students to write their definition of nutrient on a piece of paper. The teacher may choose to collect this and assign points for student accountability. Once the majority of students have recorded an answer, elicit student responses. The actual definition can be found in the lecture materials and powerpoint.
