Activity Overview / Details
Have students get their mixes, paper plates or alternative containers and instruct them to carefully remove the the plastic cup (form). Allow the students to roam, observe, record (on their HANDOUT) and discuss their findings. Depending on their ratio of concrete ingredients, students should observe numerous different types of concrete batches. Set the student batches off to the side and proceed into the lecture - power point presentation on concrete ratios.
