Hand Washing Flyer
Part of Lesson Plan: Hand Hygiene
Activity Overview / Details
Students will now make their own handwashing flyer by using their notes from the demonstration and information gathered from the internet. Explain to students that pathogen scan be spread from one person. These pathogens may cause illness and when spread from to the next are considered contagious.
Students will use Microsoft Publisher to create their flyer.
Each flyer must include:
1. Why we wash our hands
2. Tips for proper hand washing.
3. A list several common diseases associated with poor hand
hygiene.
Flyers my later be used on campus during cold and flu season
