Name the Bone
Part of Lesson Plan: "Dem Bones"-Components of the Muscular System
Activity Overview / Details
Using a disarticulated skeleton hand each student a bone. Give the students a few minutes to study the bone and attempt to identify the bone and where it might be placed within the body's skeletal structure. Explain to the students that sometimes 1 bone can be found and an individual can be identified by just that 1 bone. Ask students if they know what bone it is that they have found.
