Show the "Intro to Bioethics" Powerpoint. Students should copy down the definitions of morals, ethics, and bioethics. Also, have students copy down the strategies for value clarification. This is a checklist that they should use when they encounter a bioethcial issue that they have no opinion about.
The seventh slide introduces the "problem" with meat. These are some facts taken from the Food Inc. There are a ton of other facts that can be introduced such as. In fact, if you want to expand this lesson one could show the entire movie Food Inc.
On the second to last slide introduce one possible solution to our food problem: Invitro-meat.
