As students enter the classroom have a full  Bio Hazard Haz-Mat suit hanging on one side of the room - (borrowed from the Sherriffs office; upon occasion you might be able to borrow a bomb suit) and then have various common objects of universal precautions that are used in medical situations arranged on a table. Do not answer their inquiries regarding the objects yet.  Hand out the the enclosed crossword puzzles and ask the students to answer as many questions  as they can without accessing their textbook (or each other), (allow 15 - 20 minutes)..  At the end of that time we will correct the puzzeles and discuss answers they may have been unclear about.

gown

facemask

shoe covers

eye goggles
