Activity Overview / Details
- Now that you have thoroughly gone over the procedures & techniques for looking at and drawing a 3 view drawing, pass out the following handouts.
- Ask the students to draw the 4 isometric drawings in 3 View on a sheet of 1/4" graph paper.
- Have the students divide the graph paper into 4 equal areas. Have them locate the starting point of the FRONT VIEW by counting over 2 and up 2 squares from the lower left corner of each are.
- When they are drawing have them seperate the views in each area 2 squares apart.
- Have the students also label each view in the proper lettering. Height & Type for your class.
- Remind students to place their Name, Title, Date and Period on this assignment using the proper text.
- As the students are sketching the views on 1/4"graph paper walk around the class and observe what they are sketching. Help lead them in the right direction and make corrections along the way. This will help them and you in the long run.
