Activity Overview / Details
1. Hand out charting exercise, sample progress form and medical dictionaries or a list of medical abbreviations.
2. Model the first activity for the students and have them copy the work, be sure to identify information as either subjective, objective, assessment, or plan.
3. Allow the students to work with a partner to complete the rest of the exercises (some of the exercises may be used as homework if time is short).
