Activity Overview / Details

With this lesson, students usually work in groups of two or three, depending on the cohesiveness of the class itself (some kids can't work in groups as effectively, and therefore the project needs to be  scaled down a bit and allow them to work individually).  However you divide up the groups is your call as a professional, by the time we cover antibodies (late March - early April), my students know who they work well with and who they have difficulty with. 

Supply paper (template provided below), colored pencils, markers, glue, tape, scissors, and other media for students to use to create their storyboards about how a specific antibody targets and works to disable it's antigen.

Students can share out their storyboards when they are complete, and selected ones can be displayed as student work on bulletin boards and other displays.
