Read the Physical Therapist Professional Profile to students. Ask them to reflect on what they have learned in the lesson and think about other ways it can be applied to real life. Ask students if they have ever considered a career in Physical Therapy (P.T.). Stress the importance of health occupations such as a P.T. by reading this quote:

"Most importantly, I have to know the bones, joints, and muscles. In order to design an exercise program for someone, I have to know where the muscles originate, where they attach, and their actions. I would say anatomy and physiology is the basis of my job."
