Activity Overview / Details

Show the class a powerpoint connecting cell, nuclei, DNA,  genes, chromosomes, transcription, translation and slides of children with genetic disorders.  As the  powerpoint progresses, ask the groups/table to briefly discuss how the previous slide is connected to the next slide.  Group discussions will vary. The teacher must move about the room to help some groups who may be off task or a bit confused.
