Chromosome Research
Part of Lesson Plan: Chromosomes and the Human Genome - Olson
Activity Overview / Details
Once the class is clear on the connections between the key terms, I randomly assign students a chromosome. With only 23 chromosomes and class sizes at 40+ I try to make sure everyone has a partner for the project.
Students will then begin to reseach their chromosome, making sure to address all of the objectives on the project list. (see attached) Depending on avaliable class time and access to computers and internet, the project time will vary.
