Activity Overview / Details
Students will print their drawings on 8-1/2"x11" and then I individually review each of the drawings with the students. I then allow them to go make any modifications to correct the drawings prior to final print. We can discuss the basic development as well as why the drawing is incorrect. It gives the students one on one and the the opportunity to correct the items. When doing applied task in industry many times the project manager will review a completed drawing and make positive comments on it to assist the draftsperson in completing the task properly. At this time I also begin using more peer reviews and have students review other's work. This allows them to not only see what someone else may be missing but allows them to look at items they may be missing themselves.
