Part of Lesson Plan: Team-building and Evaluations: It's all positive reinforcement

Make a copy of the blank evaluation form and give TWO (2) to each student.  Direct each student to complete an evaluation on themselves on how they are TODAY- in this moment , then collect. Do an honest self-reflection, and thell them it will be kept totally private and not returned.   Once all have been collected, have the students write an evaluation on a randomly selected classmate ( kept confidential- do not return). 

Have the teacher ask the question, " You know yourself, did you rate yourself honestly? Now you may not have known the other student, did you rate them fairly?" The responses may be quite suprising.

Teacher: at your job, your employer may not know you, only what your production quota was; is it fair for them to rate your skills?  Why or why not?
