Activity Overview / Details

Dim the lights in the classroom. Have the chalk outline image projected on the screen. Choose two students. One student to read dramatically and one student to make sound effects.  Hand out the attached packet to all students. Have the first student read the Highway Motel story while the second student makes the appropriate sound effects (scream, gun shots, car squealing, police sirens...). Other students can then continue reading aloud the next paragraphs about forensic investigations.
