Activity Overview / Details
One volunteer from the class is selected and draped appropriately. Therapy is applied to their forearm.
Appropriate deep tissue massage with massage cream is demonstrated. Highlighting points of contact and direction of contacts. Students are to use a specific contact in the direction of the injured muscle. Physiology of the therapy is reviewed and discussed.
