Activity Overview / Details
As students come into the room, give them a worksheet with 10 statements about genetics entitled Genetic Facts and Fallacies . Individually, they will identify each statement as being correct or incorrect. Afterwards, go through each statement and see what their answers are. A discussion on why they say a statement is correct or incorrect ensues. At the end of 10-15 minutes, the students would have known which statements are correct or incorrect and why.
