Activity Overview / Details
This activity is meant to introduce the students to what they are going to be doing for the next 2 days.
Students should be directed to take out their notebooks and take down the very important information you are going to give them. Tell the students that they should finish their post-it storyboards the next day, but that they then need to put it on a more formal storyboard template. BE SURE you give them a deadline!! Show the template on the LCD projector, and let the students know where they can find it online or on your website... or have copies made for them, if you don't have anyplace they can access.
Attached below is the storyboard template and a good website that you should tell them about that gives a lot more information about storyboarding. As they leave, tell them that they should come to school the next day ready to work on their storyboards!!
