Collect Suspect DNA Evidence
Part of Lesson Plan: Polymerase Chain Reaction - Lab
Activity Overview / Details
Choose 4 students to act out the roles of the murder mystery suspects. Allow them to be creative and come up with their own fictitious names and back-stories. Give them a rack with the aliquots of suspect DNA and have the other students "collect the evidence" from each suspect. Students are sharing materials in groups of 4, so each group needs only one tube of DNA from each suspect.
