Activity Overview / Details

Students will work in groups of  two and look up on the internet information on machine technology certifications related to NIMS National Industry Metal Skills. Students will look up NIMS-skills.org web page

Each group of students will find one certification print and NIMS Print Evaluation on the NIMS website and explain  to the class where specifications requirements are evaluated and certified by NIMS.

Teacher note: Each team will call up a NIMS affidavit used  to show class where print dimensions are evaluated by industry evaluators.
