Part of Lesson Plan: Understanding Degree, Minutes, and Seconds as Angles
Activity Overview / Details
To check for understanding two problem sheets will be used. Materials required for each student will be worksheets, calculator, protractor, scrap paper, and a pencil.
The first worksheet requires student to use a protractor to plot property line directions on the circle provided.
The second worksheet requires students to apply degree conversions. This includes changing Angle to Decimal Degree and changing Decimal to Degree, minutes, and Seconds.
