Part of Lesson Plan: Acute Illness and Accidents

Activity Overview / Details

Have students work in groups to create 4 or 5 symptoms cards describing complaints or symptoms of illness or injury they are familiar with.  Collect and shuffle all the cards and read them to the class.  Have the students indicate if this is a life-threatening emergency, chronic or acute illness.  This can be done orally or in writing to create an informal or formal assessment.
