If you have never taught your students serial dilution you may want to take some extra time teaching this concept. I have attached a video that describes dilutions. It is done by students and could be used to motivate students before you lecture to them on it. I have also attached what students should copy down in their notebook when I lecture on problem 2. I have them attempt it and then I go over it in class.
