Student
Construction- Remember to stress safety and cooperation during this
project. Students will be sharing materials and working in
close proximity to other students while using the glue and primer.
PVC : (P & G-
stands for primer and glue)
1.
Using a hack saw cut four pieces of ½” sch 40 PVC
4” long
2.
Use a file to clean the burs on the outside of the pieces
cut.
3.
Use a reamer and clean the burs out of the inside of pieces
cut.
4.
Using a rag, wipe the inside of each of your fittings and the
outside of your pieces of pipe.
5.
P & G the outside of the ½” X ¾”
bushing and the inside of ¾” hose-PVC adapter and put
them together.
6.
P & G the outside of one end of one of the pieces of pipe
and inside of the ½” X ¾” bushing and fit
them together.
7.
P & G the outside of the other end of one of the pieces of
pipe and inside of the ½” S X S X T tee and put them
together.
8.
P & G the outside of one end of one of the pieces of pipe
and inside of the ½” S X S X T tee and put them
together
9.
P & G the outside of the other end of one of the pieces of
pipe and inside of the ½” slip tee and fit it together
so that the tees are perfectly perpendicular to each other.
10.
P & G the outside of one end of one of the pieces of pipe
and inside of the ½” slip tee and put it together and do
the same for the other end of the tee.
11.
P & G the outside of one end of one of the pieces of pipe
and inside of one of the ½” caps and fit it together and
do the same to the other cap and end.
