Part of Lesson Plan: Series vs. Parallel Circuits
Activity Overview / Details
As students wrap up their labs, bring the class back together to discuss their findings. It is quite likely that students will not have found uniform results, and a good opportunity is to discuss why this may be the case. Students may also need assistance thinking through the questions at the end of the lab. Help them to identify the relationships between the values found and discover for themselves the properties of parallel circuits as it relates to voltage, current, and resistance.
