Activity Overview / Details
Now's the chance to see what we can do!
Give each person the handout "Public Speaking Assignment" as well as the half sheet of topics.
Review the techniques needed to write an effective speech as well as the parameters of the assignment. They can use any one of the topics on the topic sheets.
They must be prepared to deliver the speech the next day in class.
Give them the duration of the period to work on their speech as well as whatever time they need at home.
