Charting Strategies
Part of Lesson Plan: Online Auction Selling-An Introduction
Activity Overview / Details
“Charting Strategies”- Each student team has a rotating Recorder, Presenter, Facilitator and Time Keeper. All team members are to perform their duty in completing the task. Recorder is to write strategies on chart. (Photos, Auction, Shipping)
Student teams identify and analyze listings on ebay.com for effective marketing strategies. Recorder writes on chart the strategies that are being used to market the products. Student teams are given twenty minutes to complete their analysis. The teacher will visit each group, validating their progress or redirecting their efforts as needed. Teacher will also answer clarifying questions.
The student presenter in each group will share the groups findings with class. Student teams will have some similarities in their discoveries and some team insights that can be shared.
Note-The results of the student's brainstorming will help the teacher see if students are understanding.
