Teacher Note:

Set up the projector and computer so that as the students come into class they will start to watch the short video on Dustin Hoffman and his "jar" accounting.

On the board have this question for the students to write down in their notebooks or a blank scratch paper:

Name two business related ideas or topics you heard from the video.

Discussion after the video: Relate the jars to accounts. You can't "borrow" from other "jars" to balance the accounts. Discussion question: why is it important to have balance?
