Part of Lesson Plan: Managing Your Finances - Buying a Car
Activity Overview / Details
Ask how many students want a car.
When they raise their hands – call on a few of them and ask what kind of car they would like to buy.
Students love to talk about the kind of car they want, so give each student a minute or so before you call on the next one.
Teacher may bring in Ads from the newspaper (ask your fellow teachers to save the Saturday and/or Sunday Papers and bring them to you). Teacher may also find “Penny Saver” papers at local convenience stores which are free. Some students like to peruse these.
