This unit includes an overview of the stages of play, toy  selection and safety, development as affected through play,  electronic games and the internet and their  effects  on development.

Content/Concepts

Students will identify safe and developmentally appropriate toys and play materials for children at identified ages.  They will describe the best use of these for children. at those ages.
