Introduction
Part of Lesson Plan: Packaging & Labeling
Activity Overview / Details
The teacher would have the students get out the Marketing Essentials textbook out and open to chapter 31.2. The main idea is have the students understand how companies create the packaging and labels that put a face on the product. This also helps the companies communicate to the consumer about the benefits, impression and most of all sell the product.
Key vocabulary words that the students will see in this lesson:
Package - physical container for the product
Mixed bundling – putting different products and services together.
Price bundling – two or similar products are put together for a cheaper price
Blister packs – packages with preformed plastic molds surrounding individual items arranged on a backing.
These are just a few of the vocabulary words for the lesson
