Package design
Part of Lesson Plan: Packaging & Labeling
Activity Overview / Details
Tell the students that they are now product designer consultants and that they are to work in teams of two and take a current package and redesign it.
Some ideas are: Coke can, cereal box, gum package, make up package, lotion bottle, water bottle. These are just a few ideas students are great on coming up with ideas.
You will need construction paper, markers, glue and if you have a lab with computers publisher can help the kids with this project.
If the students decide on a food or drink item , let them know that they will need to have the nutrition information on their package and the ingredients
This activity usually takes 2 class periods
When the students present their design they should have the original package.
