Families go through many stages. We begin as singles, get married, have children, the children leave home and get married, and then we become grandparents. Today we are going to analyze the stages of the family life cycle. So, I want you to think about your family. Who are the members and how old is the youngest child in your family? As we learn about the different stages of the family life cycles, you are going to find out which stage your family is in.
