Randomly, by pulling popcicle sticks with student names, call on students to name the symptoms that should be looked for during a "DAILY Health Check" of children as they enter the child care setting. This information was viewed on slide 4 of the Childhood Illness power point.
Daily Health Check-There are several signs of Illness that you
should check for DAILY as children enter child care programs:
-Rashes, sores, swelling or bruising of skin
-Changes in the appearance of the eyes
-Runny nose
-Flushing of skin
-Coughing, sneezing
-A sweaty appearance
