Teacher Help/Observe Internet Research
Part of Lesson Plan: Technology and Marketing
Activity Overview / Details
The teacher reviews students’ progress during the research of the Computer Systems paper. Teachers will also review the completed Computer System questions after research. The teacher should remind students that they will be expected to organize this information into a completed report format, such as the 5-Page Proposal lesson that students will be completing next.
Make sure to remind students, throughout this entire lesson, that the advancement of technology has made the seven Marketing Functions and the Marketing Mix extremely easy to attain. This lesson will have students create promotional materials, using current technology. Students will create a promotional report, promotional brochure, and promotional presentation on a U.S. state. As students are completing these activities, ask students to think about how these activities would have been completed a 10, 15, 20 years ago.
