Lamp Project

Your task is to model a lamp. It can be a lamp of your own design or one familiar to you. The minimum requirements are as follows:

1. Lamp Shade using a loft NURBS
2. Lamp Base using a lathe NURBS
3. Lamp Harp using a sweep NURBS
4. Lamp Neck using an extrude NURBS

(See diagram below.)

Students that finish quickly can add additional parts to their lamp. You may want the students to create materials and textures, add lighting, and create a simple animation for further practice. This is also a good place to discuss adding lights to a scene.
