Part of Lesson Plan: Binary 4- ASCII Art- How Computers Write.
Activity Overview / Details
Pass out the ASCII character sheets. Write a simple message, such as “Hello, glad you are in my class.” On the board. Have the students help you to convert the message into ASCII code numbers. Point out to them that every punctuation mark, even spaces, must have their own ASCII code number.
