Class will start with video of Jamie Oliver talking about Salads. (Time 9 minutes)
This video is a hook because Jamie Oliver is a famous and interesting chef known to most serious culinary people. Students stay glued to the screen just to see him talk and work.
Start with
"How would you like a chance to meet Jamie Oliver in person and learn some of his
secrets? Well today we get to learn his secrets directly from him." (students get excited)
However, it will be by way of the magic of digital imagery as I have a short video of him talking! (Students groan) But you will learn and he will make you think better about the magic of making even a simple tossed salad.
