Give students the hand out "Principles and Rules of Copyright"

Have students read the five defintions from the hand out Principle and Rules of Copyright."

Review the five definitions on the hand out. Ask individual students, "Read the first, second, third...fifth defintion."

Next, reread each defintion and display sample websites of the types of materials that are coprighted. Ask students, "Does this fall under intellectual property, fair use doctrine, derivative works, or academic standards? Explain to us why or why not."
