Individual or group work:

Individual work

1. Ask the students which blood vessels go into which heart chamber
2. Ask the students to draw the heart with the main parts and collect their diagrams
3. The teacher will correct the diagrams

Group work

1. Ask the students to draw the heart and place the main parts on the heart diagram and then ask them to get in groups, share and correct each other's diagram

Challenging task:

1. Ask the students if they want to volunteer, come to the board and draw the heart diagram with the main parts in the correct place.

(Students will usually come to the board if they will receive extra credit for their effort)
