Students Practice Scanning
Part of Lesson Plan: Scanning Images for Web Design
Activity Overview / Details
Ask students to practice scanning. They should create at least one black-and-white image and one color image. Have them use the items they brought to class today. Have additional items available in case students have forgotten or do not have anything to scan.
Place next to scanner a handout on-How to scan images without image editing software.
SEE BELOW HANDOUT – How to Scan Images Without Image Editing Software
Ask students to scan their images and objects and then save their work as discussed prior.
Note: Ensure students save files in the native format file type TIF, JPEG, GIF or BMP format and in the proper location on the school server
