Activity Overview / Details

A students progress through the ladder unit, incorporating all the aspects shows what progress the students have made.  Utilize All of the following:

• Removing the ladder from apparatus
• Ladder carries
• Ladder placement
• Ladder raising
• Ladder climbing

At this point students should be able to tie these aspects together to perform a smooth ladder evolution.  This will also demonstrate why it is essential to break down each step.  As the students get a chance to put all of the steps together, they will be able to then incorporate ladder usage into other scenarios.
